This is a cosmetic problem and does not affect the performance of your unit. Please contact our support department if you have been encountering this issue. Firmware updates listed here are recommended for ALL ActiveRAID systems. These applications are 'all in one' and will update your controllers to the listed firmware version. It is important that you only use the version for your ActiveRAID (ES is for single controller units ONLY). Please call support immediately if you are unsure of any part to this process.
NOTE: It is highly recommended that you have a current backup of your data before performing a firmware update to your ActiveRAID system. It is also recommended that this upgrade be performed when the system is idle and Fibre Channel activity has ceased.
- Download the ActiveRAID Controller Firmware Update appropriate for your system (ActiveRAID or ActiveRAID ES).
- Extract the Firmware Updater application from the .ZIP file.
- Double click on the Firmware Updater application, connect to your ActiveRAID system and start the controller update process. Your controllers will automatically restart if necessary to complete the upgrade.
